Five undertakings: an accurate description of both versions of what is sold; prompt delivery of your request to the operating firm; that firm's reply relayed with nothing added; a copy of the agreement retained; and one address to write to until you are back home. Availability of a date is not undertaken. Nor is the survival of a figure. Nor is performance by any operating firm. The role here is a go between, and that is stated rather than hidden.

Nothing here forecasts anything

Two descriptions attach to each place here for one reason: what a place does answers to nobody. Weather, light, water, wildlife, visibility, conditions of whatever sort, nothing written on these pages predicts them, puts odds on them or assures you of them. A source is named wherever a page reports how often something has occurred; absent a named source, no frequency is asserted at all. To reserve a week is to reserve the whole range of it and not its better half.

Whose contract binds you, in practice

It is the operating firm you are bound to. Its invoice and the confirmation it issues, with the terms printed on them, form your contract for the week. This office signs none of that, warrants none of it and has no power to alter it. Should the firm fall short of what its own terms require, the case will be argued here in writing for you, which amounts to help and not a promise of outcome.

Money, refunds and what is never held here

There is nothing on these pages you could pay for. Any refund runs between you and whichever firm sent the invoice, on the terms that firm sets. Making an arrangement costs nothing here, altering one costs nothing, cancelling one costs nothing, and no portion of a refund paid to you is taken.

No goods change hands, so no returns policy

Goods are not part of what is sold here. Nothing goes out by post, nothing arrives at your door, nothing comes back, and there is no policy on returns to write, since the sole thing that passes between parties is a booking placed in your name with somebody else. The firm that issues a confirmation emails it to you.

Accuracy, and what to do when this site is wrong, in practice

Before anything goes up, its figures, dates and descriptions are checked, and a season can still overtake them. Nothing set out here is an offer you could accept; a figure turns real at the moment the operating firm quotes it against your own dates. Spot an error and write to say so: the answer will be a correction or a deletion, not a defence of it.
