The site, the weeks, and what to say early
Say what a day has to allow for, then reserve a week a San Diego travel agent can adapt
Two subjects, kept apart. One is the behaviour of this website. The other is how you tell the office what a day on the road genuinely has to accommodate, and that second subject carries more weight, yet it is the one raised too late again and again.
Reserve one of these weeksSend the form whenever it suits: it never shuts. Someone here replies inside one working day, and no charge arises at this end.
How this site is put together
Words live in the page itself and not inside images, while each image carries wording that says what it shows. Heading levels descend in order, with none missed out. Whatever the width of your window, the layout reflows and no sideways scrolling is required. There is no motion, no flashing and no audio starting by itself; pop ups do not appear; and nothing at all is reachable only by hovering. Meaning never rests on colour alone, so wherever the spread mark is shown, a written label stands next to it.
Which part to tell the office, and when
Say it in your opening message rather than further down the line. A knee that cannot manage a long descent. Altitude that has given trouble on an earlier trip. A preference for not travelling after dark. Stairs you would sooner avoid. Whatever a room is required to have. Designing a week around a limit from the outset is far simpler than pulling apart something already confirmed, and stating the need plainly costs you nothing in the eyes of any operating company.
Nothing here will be dressed up
There are weeks here that are hard going even at their best, and harder still at their worst. Limestone pavement means uneven footing, a gorge path stays a gorge path, and seven days of rain improves neither of them. If a place will not adapt, you will be told that outright, not sold it in hope; if it will adapt, you will be told precisely what alters and what the alteration costs.
Should something here does not work
Send a note to the booking address describing the failure and the equipment or software you had in front of you. Anything that blocks a person from reading a page goes to the top of the queue, and the reply tells you when the fix lands. This site has not been tested against any published standard and no such claim is made for it. It is made with care and it gets put right when it is found to be wrong.
